"Lively Oak" celebrates the many eras of this special Raleigh neighborhood, from the late 1940s to today, with a playful nod to a time when travel was meant to spark the imagination. Thoughtfully restored vintage finds mix with cheerful local art, modern comforts and plenty of personality. Sleep and relax. Rest easy on a new Helix Luxe king mattress in the Bird bedroom and a pillowtop queen in the Owl bedroom. A 65" TV in the living room and 43" Roku TVs in each bedroom mean everyone can watch what they like. Bring your streaming logins and enjoy fast, secure Wi-Fi throughout. Cook and gather. The fully equipped kitchen has a full-size refrigerator, a new Samsung range, dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven and blender, plus both a traditional coffee maker and a pod machine. It's a great area for mid-century architecture and a visit to historic Oberlin Village. • The City of Raleigh requires us to keep a list of guests staying in the property, so we'll need your full name (and the second guest's) at booking. • This is a residential urban neighborhood, so you may hear occasional noise from neighbors, dogs or traffic. Street parking for a second vehicle is first come, first served.
