Good to know
The story starts at the front door. You step inside, drop your bags on the entry bench, and the house opens up in front of you: bright, airy, and quiet, with cool tile underfoot and sunlight across the living room. The drive is behind you. The formal living and dining areas are where the trip comes together, with room for everyone to stretch out and plan tomorrow’s beach day. When it’s time for a movie night or doing nothing at all, the separate family room gives everyone a second place to relax. The kitchen is where the cooks in your group will spend their time. It’s fully equipped for a real home-cooked meal, whether that’s pancakes for the kids or fresh grouper from the market down the road. In the morning, the coffee and tea station has your first cup waiting before anyone else is up. In the evening, the bar area is set up for grown-ups, with martini, aperitivo, and wine glasses ready for a sunset spritz or a nightcap. If work comes along on the trip, a dedicated desk in the dining area gives you a real place to focus, with fast Wi-Fi, so a quick email doesn’t take over the kitchen table. At the end of the day, three comfortable bedrooms give everyone their own place to rest. Fresh linens, soft towels, and two clean, bright full bathrooms are ready when you arrive. Sleeping arrangements Primary bedroom: King bed Guest bedroom: Queen bed Guest bedroom: Queen bed plus convertible sofa/futon Two full bathrooms Maximum occupancy: six registered guests Then there’s the outdoor space, where most evenings end up. Fire up the gas BBQ on the separate open-air patio (gas and grilling utensils provided), then bring the plates to the dining table on the back porch and eat together while the breeze picks up and the sky changes color. The kids can run around on the grassy yard while the adults linger over one more glass. This is the part of the trip people talk about later. Everyday comforts Central air conditioning and heating, an in-home washer and dryer so you can pack light and head home with clean clothes, and beach chairs and towels for your outings. Traveling with little ones? A Pack ‘n Play, high chair, changing table, and children’s dinnerware are all available.
